The Genie 4124H is designed for homeowners who want stronger lifting performance and faster access without sacrificing controlled operation. Its 140 volt DC motor can raise the garage door at speeds of up to nine inches per second, then regulate acceleration and stopping to limit abrupt movement. Belt and chain drive configurations are available, with a C channel rail that covers the rotating drive components after installation.
Aladdin Connect® is included within the opener, allowing homeowners to check the door, operate it remotely and review activity from a compatible smart device. The system also works with Alexa and can pair with up to 28 remotes, keypads and other wireless devices. Auto Seek Dual Frequency helps maintain communication when nearby interference is present, while Intellicode® protects the remote signal. HomeLink® and Car2U® equipped vehicles can connect without an added bridge or repeater.
A built in motion detector activates the two bulb lighting system when someone enters the garage. Genie LED bulbs are recommended, although incandescent bulbs rated at no more than 100 watts may also be used. GenieSense™ continuously evaluates door movement and stops operation when a significant change is detected. Optional battery backup can be added for use during power outages, and the motor includes a limited lifetime warranty.
