The Genie G3120HL combines a DC motor with a choice of steel reinforced belt or chain drive. It operates most properly balanced residential sectional doors measuring up to 10 feet high and weighing up to 500 pounds. The door opens at speeds of up to seven inches per second, while gradual acceleration and stopping help limit abrupt movement during use.
Aladdin Connect is already installed within the opener, allowing homeowners to check activity and operate the garage door from a compatible smart device without adding separate hardware. The system also works with Alexa, supports up to 16 remotes and keypads and connects directly with HomeLink® and Car2U® equipped vehicles. GenieSense™ monitors changes in operating force, while Intellicode® helps protect against stolen access codes.
The integrated LED system provides lasting garage illumination and is tuned to avoid disrupting remote signals. An optional battery can maintain operation during an outage, and the six foot power cord provides additional reach during installation. Warranty coverage includes the motor for its lifetime, the belt rail for 15 years or the chain rail for five years.
